Inaugural ceremony of the commencement of operations at fluids terminal of Cortez Transfert Company
On November 03rd, conducted the inaugural ceremony of the commencement of operations at fluids terminal of the Cortez Transfert Company, before than 200 guest formed by entrepreneurs, marketers, and farmers of the north area in the country and south area of the United States and various Federal, State and Municipal authorities.
The event was chaired by the General Coordinator of Ports and Merchant Marine, Alejandro Chacon Dominguez, along with distinguished personalities, among which stood out, the Deputy Mr. Carlos Martinez Martinez, the Secretary of the Navy Committee of the Chamber of Deputies, Mr. Mario Cuen Aranda, Impulsor Director, representing the Sonoran Governor, Mr. Cesar Lizarraga Hernandez, Mayor of Guaymas, and managers of Cortez Transfert Company, Mark Christopher Jessen, Gowan Group Director, and the President of Gowan Group Mr. John Robert Jessen, among others.
The start of operations occurred simultaneously with the arrival of the ship “Britta Maersk” from Russia, wich brought 30 thousand tons of liquid fertilizer metric, that in its first activity downloaded the product in just 44 hours, also, with this event started the download from the facility to rail and trucking units to be mobilized for first time by the Multimodal Corridor “Guaymas-Mexicali”, since its approval last April, to move cargo in international traffic using the Port of Guaymas.
