Port of Guaymas and CMIC sign an agreement to educate and train the construction industry companies

The Port of Guaymas and The Mexican Chamber of Construction Industry (CMIC) sign a collaboration agreement to encourage the education and training of the specialized personnel that participate at the construction area. The purpose of this formation is to provide specialization and actualization courses, seminaries, conferences, symposiums and work tables related with construction, in order to promote and motivate the constant improvement of the participants.

Signing the agreement, we endorse our port infrastructure improvement commitment and encouraging the education to workers and entrepreneurs that participate in the projects and port construction, expressed Edmundo Chavez Mendez Director of the Port of Guaymas

On the other hand the CMIC’s Legal Representative, Adolfo Harispuru Borquez highlighted that in order to contribute with the attracting founding, the agreement formalizes the voluntary withholding of 0.2% from the amount of the estimates that have the right of the contractors for the realized work, result of the execution of the construction, resources that will be designated to the ICIC in order to enforce the activities of the industry on regarding on improvement and certification.

Another part of the agreement, is the formation of a joint committee that will be represented for the Construction Industry Capacitation Institute (ICIC) which will act as an effective communication channel between both instances.
